Watch: Virat Kohli reveals bizarre secret of successful partnership with Faf du Plessis

Virat Kohli, the opening batsman for Royal Challengers Bangalore, claimed on Thursday that his relationship with opening partner Faf du Plessis at the crease is “very similar” to that of his previous partner and cricketing star AB de Villiers. At the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad on Thursday, Virat scored a blistering century off just 63 deliveries to help his team defeat Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets.

Virat was named “Player of the Match” for his outstanding century in the pivotal game. He replied that batting with Faf seems very similar to how batting with AB de Villiers used to feel when he was questioned about his partnership with Faf for 172.
