This headline could be a headache for some and it could be a massive news for some. All time International top scorer Cristiano Ronaldo recently moved to Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Nassr for a competitive and an intense Saudi Pro League is rumored to be back in the European circuit sooner or later.
By the end of last year, his time with Manchester United got over and so did his time playing as an elite in European clubs. Ronaldo had no suitors in Europe. Many people have since then questioned if the Middle-eastern league is tougher than Europe’s top 5.

And surprisingly for Ronaldo it is tough to settle in. 4 days ago, AL-Nassr faced Al-Ittihad for a Saudi Super Cup semi-final and Ronaldo’s side had to exit the tournament as they lost by 3-1. And now the only cup remains is the Saudi Top-tier which could possibly break Ronaldo’s drought of major trophies.
Sensing the amount of confidence and determination of the 5-time UCL winner, Al-Nassr coach Rudi Garcia revealed that there is another version of Ronaldo yet to to come. He further said that the Saudi league will not be his final days as a player because he will return to European football once his contract ends.

“Cristiano Ronaldo is a positive addition, as he helps to disperse defenders. He is one of the best players in the world. He will not finish his career at Al-Nassr, he will return to Europe.”
He has also been linked to a move to the United States with David Beckham’s Inter Miami showing interest. However, his hunger for top-class football could definitely write his last chapter around Europe. Can we see Ronaldo’s redemption or is he really washed?
