Ricky Ponting‘s son Fletcher William who is 8 years old demonstrated his hitting prowess at a recent net session with his father, the head coach of the Delhi Capitals (DC). Emmy Charlotte and Matisse Ellie are Ricky Ponting’s other two daughters. His youngest kid is named Fletcher.
On Friday, April 14, DC uploaded a captivating video to their Instagram account to show Ricky Ponting and his kid playing cricket during a net session. “Adorable Impact Substitutes and where to find them A wholesome Punter Masterclass session ft. Ricky Jr,” they captioned the photo.

The boy was then seen playing some wonderful shots, similar to Ponting during the peak of his career for Australia, during a net session with his father.
Before the match between RCB and DC on Saturday, Fletcher was already seen meeting up with Virat Kohli. The two of them shared a beautiful moment in which the youngster was in awe of the Indian star batter.
The usual captain of DC, Rishabh Pant, also commented on the tweet and said ”Hahahaha too young for selection Rick 😂. Maybe one day he might come and play for Delhi 😊😊”. Pant has been disqualified from the IPL 2023 as he heals from injuries sustained in a car accident. David Warner is currently leading Delhi Capitals as a captain in place of Rishabh Pant.
DC has had a rough start to the IPL 2023 season as they have dropped all four of their games and are currently last in the standings. They will play RCB the next day, April 15, in Bangalore.
