The Pakistani legend violently pounded the sofa in front of him after Akram’s Kings lost the match in a last-ball thriller. The entire event was caught on camera. Many fans were not amused by Akram’s antics, and now former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) president Ramiz Raja has joined the chorus of disapproval.

Ramiz took a shot at Akram, claiming that the president of the Karachi Kings should be acting more responsibly because his actions just serve to inflame anger.

Raja continued by saying that given the position Akram holds, it is crucial for him to maintain composure under pressure. Also, “it is preferable to be not in public view,” he said, “if you can’t control your temper, which is most necessary in this position. It doesn’t look good in terms of optics.”
The Karachi franchise hasn’t had the best start to the season; they’ve dropped four of their first five games. They only had one victory, a 67-run victory over Lahore Qalandars.
