Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers are their own coaches: Simon Katich

RCB head coach Simon Katich said that Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers are their own coaches you don’t have to teach them anything.

De Villiers and Kohli are one of the best players who have ever played the great game of cricket who knows each and every condition really well and their ability to perform in crunch situations separates them from the lot.

Katich was asked about how much he is enjoying collaborating with two legends of the game to which he said Kohli is a sharp learner and he keeps on asking questions to you as every time he is looking to improve and learn the nuances of the game.

We are very fortunate to have these two around young boys in the Bangalore-based franchise so that the youngsters can dive into their minds and learn the cricketing aspects from these two giants of the game.

“They (Virat & AB de Villiers) are their own coaches because they know their game – and the game – inside out because of the volume of cricket they’ve played, Virat still wants to learn, though, and is always asking if we can see anything that might improve his game, but a player of his caliber, there is not a lot wrong with his game,” Simon Katich said as quoted by Sportskeeds.

RCB is in full form in the ongoing season of IPL 2021 as they won four matches out of five which they have played so far and will be next locking horns against Delhi Capitals Today.
