#1. Waqar Younis

Waqar Younis is a Pakistani cricket bowling coach, commentator, and former captain of the Pakistan cricket team. Waqar’s forte was reverse swing bowling at high speed that sent many batsmen back to the pavilion.

One of the top captains of Pakistan cricket team in the history of the game, he took as many 373 test wickets and 416 ODI wickets during his career. He formed one of the most dangerous opening fast bowling pairs with Wasim Akram. However, his career graph weakened after his bach journey in 1991.

Misbah-ul-Haq Khan Niazi, better known as Misbah-ul-Haq is a former international cricketer and captain of Pakistan ODI and Test cricket team. Misbah has been one of the top captains of the Pakistan cricket team and was best known for his composure with the bat.

He scored 5,222 runs at an average of 47 with a strike rate of 73. He is the current chief selector and head coach of the Pakistan cricket team. He is currently the head coach and chief selector of the Pakistan National Team. He retired from all formats on 14 May 2017. Misbah announced his retirement in April 2004.

He is Pakistan’s only batsman to score 20,000 runs in international cricket. He captained his team from 2003-2007 and announced retirement in 2007.

Akram is one of the best captains of the Pakistan cricket team in the history of Pakistan cricket. Akram also holds the record for most wickets in List A cricket with 881 and second in terms of ODI cricket with 502 in total. He retired from the game in 2003.

But his career-high as a captain came when he led his team to victory in the 1992 Cricket World Cup in Australia. He retired in 1992. Khan is the current Prime Minister of Pakistan and the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
