Royal Challengers Bangalore replaced a couple of their players who were part of the first leg of IPL 2021 but couldn’t be present in the second leg due to personal reasons and they have managed to get Tim David a cricketer from Singapore who has taken world cricket by storm.

Tim David has impressed in the entire franchise cricket he has played in the last few years whether it is PSL, The Hundred and now his eyes will be set to mark his impact in IPL for RCB.

  1. Tim David usually plays at number 3 position for his national team but in franchise cricket, he has batted in the middle order as well as in lower down the order too and has performed the role of finisher superbly in different franchise leagues. He is a hard-hitting batsman with style.
  2. At the Under 23 level, He became a better-equipped player and started performing on regular basis, and for Western Australia, he scored 411 runs at an average of 45.66 which landed a contract for him with Perth Scorchers.
  3. After his first season for Perth Scorchers didn’t go down well he went back to play for Singapore where he was born as he was always eligible to play from there.
  4. For Singapore, he has scored 558 runs from 14 matches at a strike rate of 158.52 with the highest score of unbeaten 92 runs.
  5. Time and again taking to different media outlets he has expressed his desire to play for the Australian national side however he also added that he will wait for the right opportunity. In PSL he represented Lahore Qalandars where he scored 180 runs in six innings at a strike rate of 166.67.
