Shaheen Afridi completes 100 test wickets, Enters this Elite list

In Pakistan’s 4-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in the first test match of the series, a lot of records were broken. Saud Shakeel became the only batter to score a double century in tests after playing only six matches. He was the player of the match as well.

The match was completely dominated by Pakistan away from home. Sri Lanka batted first and scored 312 runs. Pakistan, in return, scored 461 and managed to gather a strong lead in the first innings. Sri Lanka could not recover and set a target of 131 runs, which was easily chased.

There were other records broken as well, in which the left-arm pacer from Pakistan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, became the first bowler to complete 100 wickets in international test matches. He is now a part of an elite company of Pakistani pacers and is among the top-10 highest wicket-takers for Pakistan in test cricket.
