Sarfaraz Khan dissapointed after being excluded for the upcoming series

Sarfaraz Khan

After being passed over for the next four-match Test series against Australia, Indian batsman Sarfaraz Khan is dissatisfied. Due to Sarfaraz’s outstanding performance in domestic cricket, more chances are calling him to be selected for the Test team. But, Suryakumar Yadav, who is also going through a good form in limited-overs cricket, was chosen instead by the selectors who had a different opinion.

Since his return to the Mumbai circuit, Sarfaraz has been having a great run. Since 2019, the hitter has run for 2289 runs at an average of 134.64. Sarfaraz is second only to Don Bradman in terms of the best batting average with an 80.47 average for his 3380 runs in red-ball cricket.

Sarfaraz had impressive stats in IPL as well. He made his debut in IPL in 2015 at the age of 17, where he was picked up Royal Challengers Bangalore. He performed magnificently well in that season having the strike rate of 156 and making believe his team of the right investment at him.

This dignifies the batter’s batting skills, flexibility and his ability to play in critical situations. But, after not being selected for the upcoming Test series he was dissapointed to some point and said that ‘he is hurt for not being selected in the team and will continue to give his best in domestic cricket’. This will raise his chances of selection in future most probably.
