Just like every year, 2020 is going to be really busy for Team India. So whenever the players get time to freshen up, they spend their time with their loved ones. Be it Indian skipper Virat Kohli or all-rounder Hardik Pandya, everyone is enjoying the new year with their special ones.

Joining the list is none other than wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant. The 22-year-old cricketer shared a picture from her vacation with girlfriend Isha Negi. The duo was all smiles for the camera while taking a much-needed break in the snow-capped mountains.

In the snap, the couple was surrounded by snow. The left-hand batsman was smiling while looking towards the camera. On the other hand, Negi can be seen admiring Pant’s smile in the photo. Alongside the snapshot, he wrote, “I like me better when I’m with you.

Isha also shared the same photo on the photo-sharing platform and captioned it, “5th year and counting…love you sky big bubbie.

Pant followed the footsteps of his skipper Virat Kohli, who spent his new year by vacationing with his wife and actress Anushka Sharma in the beautiful central European country of Switzerland.

As for Pant, he made his relationship with Isha official on Instagram at the start of the last year after returning from the historic tour of Australia.

The cricketer from Roorkee would want to make 2020 a big year for him. He showed a lot of promise last year when he scored an amazing century at Sydney Cricket Ground and helped India in winning the first-ever Test series Down Under. Even in the 2019 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Pant made some staggering knocks to help his team reach the semi-finals.

But since then, no big innings have come from the bat of the attacking player. He played a total of 12 One-Day Internationals last year and scored only 305 runs at an average of 27. Pant could only manage to score one fifty in 2019. Even in the shortest format of the game, he was not quite up to the mark. In 16 games, he accumulated 252 runs at an average of 21. Shockingly, he was out on a duck twice last year.

Meanwhile, in red-ball cricket, he had to lose his place to Wriddhiman Saha after Pant could not manage to impress the management with his wicketkeeping abilities. The biggest drawback with Pant has been the way he gets out at the crucial moments. He has been facing a lot of criticisms for going back to the dressing room by playing some really careless shots.

However, he can redeem himself by playing some important knocks in the upcoming T20I series against Sri Lanka.
