Real Kabaddi League season 2 Memorable matches : Mewar Monks Vs. Chambal Pirates

The second match of Matchday 1 of the Real Kabaddi League season 2 featured a nail biting contest between Mewar Monks and Chambal Pirates. The Monks were unable to beat the Pirates team which looked pretty energetic. 

Chambal raider and Captain Dheeraj was probably the best player on the mat as he looked very agile, active and responsible. He handled his team very well at such a young age and ensured his team took advantage of every situation. 

The Monks became a bit complacent as they were lacking that spark to outclass the Chambal team. Their raiders did well but the defence could not support the raiders as they kept on giving away points cheaply. 

Pirates captain Dheeraj Ahlawat received the man of the match award for his outstanding performance as he was able to bring back a total of 12 raid points. His team are already looking like title contenders.    

Mewar Monks on the other hand would have hoped for a better performance last evening against the Chambal Pirates. Despite being just 7 points behind at the end of the first half, the Monks’ eventually lost as the game ended with a scoreline of 32-49 in favor of the Pirates.
