A lot of young and exciting players with a plethora of talent will be donning their respective teams jerseys. Below, we take a look at the players to watch out for (both India and Ireland) in this upcoming T20I series, which begins Friday.
Jasprit Bumrah (India)
The legendary Indian fast bowler will be playing international cricket after almost a year. He is India’s most valuable bowler as of now in all the formats, and everyone will be hoping that he gets his rhythm back in this series. He will be leading the Indian side and, hence, will have added responsibility on his shoulders.
Joshua Little (Ireland)
This Irish left-arm pacer is a very promising prospect in the T20I format. He has taken a lot of wickets for Ireland and is undoubtedly their ace bowler. He also featured in the IPL this year and will be a tough question to answer for the Indian batters.
Harry Tector (Ireland)
Harry Tector is again an exciting player who has shown glimpses of what he can do in this format. Tector has the ability to tonk the ball from the very beginning and could be very dangerous in his home conditions.
Rinku Singh (India)
He is one player who is most likely to make his debut for India in this upcoming series. Rinku had an excellent IPL season in 2023 and, hence, has been rewarded with an India call-up. He will be playing as a finisher on the team and is one of the players to watch out for.
Washington Sundar (India)
Sundar is also back on the Indian side after recovering from an injury. He has been with the team for quite a while now but has lacked consistency. His all-round abilities make him a player who is difficult to leave out of the team. He will be India’s premier spinner in this series.
