Pakistan skipper Babar Azam & Australia women batter Rachel Haynes has been named as the ICC Player of the month

Babar Azam is making runs for fun these days as the stylish right handed batsman scored 390 runs  in a recently concluded Test series against Australia at home where his knock of 196 runs in the second innings of Karachi Test was heavily praised by cricket experts from all over the world.

He was nominated in ICC Men’s Player of the month along with fellow nominee- Kraigg Braithwate and Pat Cummins where he bagged the honour.

Darren Ganga, who is currently one of the member of the Voting Panel applauded Azam’s performance with the willow in last few months.

Australia women batter Rachel Haynes is also in phenomenal touch with the willow as she scored 429 runs at a massive average of 61.28 and her extraordinary performance has helped her side to maintain an unbeaten campaign till the final where they subsequently went on to win World Cup title for record seventh time.

She was nominated in ICC Women’s Player of the month along with fellow nominee- Sophie Ecclestone (England) and Laura Wolvaardt (South Africa) where Haynes bagged this prestigious award.
