Fixture number 16 of the Real Kabaddi League season 2 saw reigning champions Shekhawati Kings lock horns with Aravali Eagles. The Kings did not start the season 2 of RKL as they would have expected but picked up the pace right when it was needed.
Shekhawati Head Coach Jasbeer Hooda managed the team really well and helped the team bounce back from rough situations. Kings raider Lakshya Malik kept his form intact throughout the season and in this match he alone won 24 raid points and took home three points as well as the man of the match award.
Their defence was absolutely staggering as they did enough to help the Kings pick up a one-sided victory. Meanwhile, the Aravali Eagles suffered yet another discouraging loss and go down to the bottom of the table.
Their hopes for making it to the Play-off stages are done and dusted following an embarrassing loss. Akhil Singh was the only raider who reached double figures as he collected 10 raid points but their defence kept on handing points to the opposition – aiding for Aravali’s loss by a margin of 15 points.
The final score line at the end of 40 minutes was 37-52.
