Mario Mandzukic leaves Juventus to join Qatari Club Al-Duhail

According to various news coming from the pundits, Mario Mandzukic is all set to join the Qatari club breaking the hearts of millions of Manchester United fans. The Juventus veteran was overlooked by Maurizio Sarri and has been a long-time target of Manchester United whose attack looks very weak after the departure of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez.

The Croatian not only did shock Manchester United by joining the Qatari club called Al-Duhail but also many top-flight clubs who were vying for his signature. However, few reports also suggest that the decrease of interest from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Red Devils was one of the main reasons for the move of Mario Mandzukic to the Middle-East. It is believed that the player is expected to get a big paycheck in the Qatari League.

On the other hand, Manchester United are seriously vying for the signature of RB Salzburg’s Erling Braut Haaland. However, Manchester United are not the only club who are trying to sign the player from Germany. Even the clubs like Juventus and Chelsea are hunting the player.

According to the reports from Italy, Juventus are in the pole position to land RB Salzburg’s ace. They are ahead of Manchester United to sign Haaland from Germany.  According to RB Salzburg’s head of soccer, it might be difficult to keep the player for a long time in their hold. He said;

“’Yes, we met with him. We are interested in the player, great interest. He listened to it, logically, and is very open to a move. He would like to change [clubs] in summer at the latest. It is not easy. There’s Manchester United, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund.

There are a few other clubs as well. Of course, our club also has certain guard rails and limits. And I have named the clubs that compete, and there may be salary regions that we don’t want to go into. [The fee] is still manageable, but the package does not only consist of the transfer fee,”

If Manchester United sign the player in the January transfer window, Haaland’s wages will rise from $ 26000 to $259000 per week which includes all type of bonuses which includes Champions League qualification bonus too.
