Manchester City extened unbeaten run to 18-matches, also become fastest to 250 goals in Europe
European Treble winners Manchester City extended their unbeaten run of matches to 18 in Europe, thanks to a 3-0 victory over Swiss opponents Young Boys last night in front of home fans. Pep Guardiola’s side also became the fastest Club ever in UEFA Champions League to score 250 goals taking only 119 games.
Many believe that the current Manchester City team is even more lethal than last year’s Treble winning side. Despite a few outgoings, the club managed to bring in effective replacements who are chipping in positively for the team’s contribution.

But in the 22nd minute, Midfielder Matheus Nunes won a penalty which was neatly converted by Erling Haaland by sending Young Boys goalkeeper Racioppi the wrong way. Then in the closing minutes of First half, Jack Grealish assisted Phil Foden with a beautifully curved pass as the latter found the left far post with a calm finish to double City’s lead.
Then 6 minutes into the 2nd half, Erling Haaland tripled City’s lead with a powerful shot from outside of the box with his left foot to find the top left corner. Haaland scored City’s 248th and 250th goal in Europe while City academy superstar Phil Foden netted the 249th goal.
