Louis Jacobus Burger played List A cricket between the years 2001 and 2005 and appeared in six One Day Internationals (ODIs) during the World Cup of the year 2003. Louis Jacobus Burger’s brothers Bernie Burger has participated in the International Cricket Council (ICC) Trophy, while his brother Sarel Burger represented the national cricket team of Namibia in the Cricket World Cup.

Louis Burger scored two centuries in the latter half of the year 2006, the first of Louis Jacobus Burger’s career against Limpopo in the month of October and the second, a career-high 120 against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the month of December.
