Its Officially Confirmed now: This star batter has taken leave from India’s upcoming series due to this reason

India’s star batter Kl Rahul was excluded from the national squad in the upcoming NZ series in T20 and ODI format and there was a report it was due to his marriage.

Based on reports from different media outlets, It is officially confirmed that star batter will no longer part of the series due to his marriage with Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty.

The marriage will be held on 23rd January 2023. The ceremony will be held for two days starting from 21st January to 23rd January 2023.

However there have been no official confirmation was done by these two regarding their marriage.

Kl Rahul recently played an outstanding knock to rescue India towards victory against Sri Lanka in the 2nd ODI at Kolkata.

India were chasing only 216 runs against Sri Lanka where the former batters lost quick wickets and all pressure was down to Kl Rahul and Hardik Pandya after early loss of wickets.

Kl Rahul ensured along with Pandya to establish solid partnership in the middle.

He was complemented by Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav in the middle to ensure that India cross the line.

Winning two matches out of three match series would mean India will look to give chances to bench players for last T20 against Sri Lanka.

Taking about the ongoing series Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli has found their mojo back with the willow and it is a great sign for India cricket considering this year belongs to 2023 World Cup in October later this year.

India would be looking to win ICC trophy as the powerhouse in cricket have failed to win marquee event from last 9 years.
