The Centre-forward is currently under a 3-year contract with I-League outfit Sudeva Delhi FC after being promoted to the senior team two years ago. Paul is regarded as an extremely talented Striker containing a lot of potential to go on top of Indian football.
The 18-year-old has represented India across various age groups from U-15 to U-20. He is currently an important part of the Indian U-20 team set up. Over the last two years from 2020-2022, he appeared 22 times for Sudeva Delhi FC in I League, I League Relegation stage and Durand cup. Before breaking into the Sudeva Delhi FC team, Shubho Paul played for Bengal Football academy and Beleghata Balaka Club. According to the numbers provided by All India Football Federation, the Teenage sensation has played a total of 59 matches until now and found the back of the net a staggering 92 times.
His goal-scoring record has been truly phenomenal and that is perhaps the reason why Bayern Munich are eyeing to secure his signing for the youth team. His goal scoring ratio per 90 minutes over the last 2 seasons is 0.51%, which is not bad for a youngster playing football in India.
Shubho Paul was a part of the Bayern Munich world squad in 2021 where he trained extensively under Christopher Loch. While playing for the Bayern world squad, the 18-year-old played several youth matches against clubs from South America as well as Europe.
