Commonwealth Games 2022 will be starting from the 28th of July 2022 to the 8th of August and recently the women’s cricket group matches are announced as the venue for the matches will be at Edgbaston Cricket Ground, UK.
Although, the women’s T20 commonwealth games will get underway on July 29th, 2022. The inaugural match will see the two giants of women’s cricket, the Indian women’s cricket team will go against the Australia women’s cricket team, and later Pakistan will be facing Barbados in the last match of day 1.
The gold medal and bronze medal matches will take place on 7th August 2022.
Since 1998, Cricket will be part of the Commonwealth Games and a total of 8 women’s teams will take part in the major event.
In the 1998 Kuala Lumpur games, at the men’s cricket event, South Africa won the gold medal by defeating Australia in the 50-over format.
The most proposed India vs Pakistan match will take place on July 31. These two matches-up have always brought plenty of emotions for the fanatics of cricket.
