IND vs NZ 2nd ODI : Team India looks confident to seal the series

India has won the toss and decided to bowl first in the second ODI against New Zealand. India won in 1st ODI and now hopes to wrap the series. Lead in the series must have boosted the confidence of Men in Blue. India is having a lead by 1-0 in the series and is seeking to win its another ODI series after defeating Sri Lanka in its last ODI series.

In the first ODI, India narrowly defeated New Zealand thanks to Shubman Gill‘s record-breaking 208-run innings after Michael Bracewell’s 140-run threat was ended in the final over. This indicates that Black Caps are’nt giving up so easily and India has to look for better performances.

From team India’s side inform batsman Virat Kohli who scored back to back centuries recently, will also look to play a big innings and helping out his team to win the match and the series.

The 2nd match is being played at  Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur and the pitch at this location tends to slow down as the game goes on, it has not been the simplest to bat on. However, once they get their eyes in and acclimated to the velocity of the surface, batters will unquestionably have a say. India will look to take the advantage of winning the toss by winding up the Kiwis on a low total score.  So, it will be interesting to see that how the teams will perform on a low batting pitch.

This is the first international match to be hosted at this venue however, the location has previously hosted  numerous Road Safety World Series (RSWS) contests.

Both the teams are playing with the same playing xi of the previous match and both will look to fight tough for their prestige.
