There are various sources of happiness. Some people depend upon their family or friends for it but for Sportzcraazy people like us, the happiness derived from a century by Virat Kohli hits different. The 34-year-old brought a wave of happiness and smile to his countless fans as he scored his 75th International century a few days ago at Ahmedabad.
For the first time in 3 years, Virat Kohli scored a match saving 100 in the longest format of cricket and he could not have chosen a better opponent to raise his bat against. After more than 1200 days (22 November 2019) Kohli was able to reach triple figures and played a classic inning of 186.

The crowd in the stadium were able to see that sight as Kohli scored his 28th Test ton in pursuit of happiness to him and his fans. On that note, Veteran Indian off-spinner and World’s #2 Test All-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin revealed that he had a conversation with Virat Kohli before the batter went big in the 4th Test.

After the grueling loss in the 3rd Test at Indore, Ashwin spoke with Kohli after the latter got out for scores of 22 and 13 in both innings. Aswhin provided support to the Delhi born batter and motivated him through his words. He appreciated Kohli and asked him to hang on a bit to capitalize on his brilliant starts.

βHe was getting time and was probably just getting out after getting starts, in the 30s and 40s. It was just about putting your hands around the shoulder and telling the person that you are batting brilliantly, just need to hang in there and things are going to turn around. It has turned for me in my cricketing career as well so, I felt a big knock was around the corner.”
Meanwhile, after a 2-1 Border-Gavaskar trophy 2023 win, India will now take on Australia for a 3-match ODI series starting from 17th of March.
