Ind vs Aus ODI Series: Rohit Sharma to not lead Men in Blue for limited over format

The ongoing Border-Gavaskar series has significantly changed as a result of Australia winning the most recent game, which was played in Indore and which India defeated by nine wickets.

With their victory, Australia has already guaranteed their place in the World Test Championship final.

The three teams vying for the other finals spot include South Africa, India, and Sri Lanka.

The last game of the series will be played in Gujarat between March 9 and March 13, respectively.

Following the series, they will play an ODI series beginning in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.

According to rumours in numerous publications, India’s skipper, Rohit Sharma, would miss the ODI series due to personal obligations.

In his absence, Hardik Pandya is ready to lead India in an ODI series.

Rohit will only be unavailable for the first ODI game, if we go a little deeper.

On March 23, 2023, the final ODI in the series, his absence will have a significant effect on Men in Blue.

If India wins the fourth match in the series, the series will be decided in their favour.

If Australia wins last match of the series then the entire Border-Gavaskar trophy will be resulted in a tie.

India would be forced to depend on the series between Sri Lanka and New Zealand, where the former must defeat the latter with a score of 2-0, which doesn’t appear simple.

After the India-Australia one-day international series, the showpiece event, the IPL 2023, will go off with a game between Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians in Ahmedabad.

Ten teams will vie for the coveted title over the course of more than two months in the IPL 2023.
