Fixture Format for Champions Trophy 2025: 

The Marquee event will be based on round-robin group stage where teams falling in the same group will be playing against each other once and eventually top 2 teams from both groups will qualify as semifinalist.

Let’s say we mark them as A1, A2 , B1 and B2 so eventually – A1 will play B2 in 1st Semifinal round and B1 will play against A2 in 2nd Semifinal round.

Eventually winners from A1 vs B2 & B1 vs A2 will be facing each other in the final for winning Champions Trophy 2025.

Defending Champion Pakistan(2017) will be up against each other for retaining their title.

My Perspective: 

Champions Trophy will certainly become one of the most talked about tournament for sure as it is coming up after a brief period of 8 years.

It will be interesting to see how Pakistan as host will play and how rest of the teams will adapt in distinct condition across three venues in Pakistan and one venue in UAE.
