The cricket world has witnessed different run machines in different eras, but becoming a one man army for the team is a rare feat. We have seen mighty superheroes like Avengers doing the rare feat of facing all the chin music and safely taking the team to home.
A new cricket superstar cum savior was born yesterday flexing his muscles and giving a stare to the opposition. He is fast, furious, foodie, ruthless and play cricket like a video game, he is none other than Mohammad Shahzad from Afghanistan.
The quintessential Afghan has a wide range of strokes in the army and uses bat like a mace to throttle the demons. The flabby, bulky Afghan wasn’t considered fit by many before the tournament, but he made his critics eat humble pie after scoring a scintillating ton against the defending champion India.

The 30 year old batsman took just 88 balls to score the ton against India, literally slaughtering the Indian bowlers like a Goat. He was merciless last night; he hammered 7 anti-gravity sixes and 11 tracer bullet fours. During the process, he equaled Shahid Afridi record of scoring a hundred in lowest team scores.
When the wickets on the other hand were falling like a pack of cards, he took the attack back to the opposition by playing gravity less shots. He showed the world that size does matter, the bigger they are the harder they hit.
Even his cricket idol was in awe of the Afghani cannon, but didn’t express the pleasure because of being on the firing end. The Afghani Kung Fu Panda is surely going to set some new milestones in the future. The overnight superstar has played 77 ODI’s till date and has scored 2544 runs at an average of 34.38. He has scored 5 centuries and 14 fifties till date with the help of 296 fours and 56 sixes.
His remarkable feats doesn’t stop here, he is the only Afghani player to score a century in T20 internationals.
