The 16th edition of the world’s biggest league is underway and the Rajasthan Royals team is leading the points table with the first position by winning four matches out of five. Warne Army lifted the trophy after defeating one of the most successful franchises, Chennai Super Kings. Rajasthan performed superbly in the inaugural season and secured victories in 11 matches including the final out of total matches. Late Warne led his team to win the inaugural season.

Low Moment
Rajasthan brutally failed in the 2020 season of the Indian Premier League. Steve Smith-led Rajasthan Royals were thrashed and looked helpless for the whole season. In that season of the league, Rajasthan played a total of 14 matches, out of which, it could win in 6 whereas lost in 8 major matches. The franchise ended the season by finishing on the bottom with just 12 points.
Releasing Key Players
Australian all-rounder Shane Watson was an integral part of the Rajasthan Team. The destructive batter had played some of the best innings of his career on behalf of the Rajasthan Royals. However, the star all-rounder was released by the franchise. Watson later on played for Chennai Super King.
