Harry Brook, Adam Hose Fights Back But Couldn’t Take Northern Superchargers to Victory

Harry Brook

Northern Superchargers suffered a very close win on Friday as Harry Brook and Adam Hose put on a fighting partnership with their respective 44 and 36. However, their contribution could not take their team to victory and the team lost to London Spirit by 13 runs in the 24th match of The Hundred Men’s Competition 2023 at Lord’s on August 18, 2023.

London Spirit showed brilliance in the 24th match to secure a crunching win against the Northern Superchargers. Spirit batted first and with their opener, Rossington brilliantly took down the Chargers’ bowlers. They put on 160 for 6 in their 100-ball inning.

Chasing a target of 161, Superchargers got off to a poor start, losing three wickets for 54 runs. Brook and Hose then tried to rebuild the innings, but they were both dismissed eventually by Bopara and Dawson, leaving Superchargers in a precarious position.

Brook provided rhythm with his brilliant 44-run inning. However, despite the effort, the batter could not take his inning till the end as succumbed to Bopara at 44. Whilst Adam Hose also backed to the pavilion at the 33.
The lower order tried their best to get the team closer to the target, but they couldn’t quite do it, as Superchargers finished on 147/7.
