“GOAT Recognizes GOAT” MS Dhoni Hails Virat Kohli’s Technique in CSK Dressing Room

The Chennai Super Kings are performing admirably in the current Indian Premier League season. The four-time champions are ranked second on the points standings after winning six of their last 11 games. In a recent 140-run chase in Chepauk, CSK overcame their bitter rivals Mumbai Indians by six wickets.

This triumph was noteworthy since it marked CSK’s first victory against MI at Chepauk since 2011. In addition to such a great victory, MS Dhoni‘s mention to Virat Kohli touched the hearts of many fans.

In a video that quickly became popular on social media after the game finished in CSK’s favour, Dhoni is heard speaking to his squad in the dressing room. In order to inspire his team, the former India captain used Kohli’s name throughout his speech.

“Virat plays the first ball differently than you do. Regarding Kohli’s batting approach, “It is always here,”  Dhoni is heard saying.”

Notably, Kohli and Dhoni have a very close connection. The RCB star has frequently voiced his admiration for Dhoni.

Kohli said that MS Dhoni was the only person to text him after he resigned as the Test captain in January 2022 during the Asia Cup last year. Later, he also discussed the texts Dhoni had sent to him throughout the tough time.

“MS Dhoni is the only one who has actually tried to get in touch with me. And knowing that I can have such a deep tie and relationship with someone who is so much older than me in terms of things is such a blessing for me; it is a friendship that is built on a lot of mutual respect, Kohli had remarked on the RCB Podcast.
