Five Nations Yet to Conquer Team India in International Cricket

Their inaugural encounter occurred in a solitary ODI match in 2007, wherein Team India emerged victorious. Across T20Is, India has clashed with Ireland on seven occasions, with the Irish team falling short in each encounter.

Despite four international clashes, UAE has suffered resounding defeats in every instance. The teams met thrice in ODIs and once in T20Is, with their last encounter resulting in a nine-wicket win for India during the Asia Cup 2016.

Netherlands‘ Unyielding Pursuit

Netherlands, a rapidly improving team, has yet to conquer India in international cricket. In three World Cup meetings, spanning the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 and the ICC ODI World Cups in 2011 and 2003, India emerged victorious. As their next encounter looms in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, Netherlands seeks to break this pattern at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Hong Kong’s Unfulfilled Challenge

Hong Kong’s rivalry with India centers around Asia Cup matches. Across the 2008, 2018, and 2022 editions, India has consistently triumphed over Hong Kong. Notably, the 2018 Asia Cup match saw a spirited display from Hong Kong, as Nizakat Khan and Anshy Rath’s formidable partnership put India on the back foot. Despite the scare, India managed to rally and restrict Hong Kong to 259/8 in 50 overs, reaffirming their dominance.
