“Every player in the squad is in contention for 3rd Test” Witty skipper Rohit keeps suspense on India’s Playing X1

Rohit Sharma

According to various reports, Kl Rahul would have another opportunity in the third Test against Australia in Indore.

Another segment of the media speculates that Gill will become India’s starting X1 player.

When asked about India’s starting X1 ahead of the third test, Rohit Sharma remarked sarcastically, “Every 17–18 players is in contention to make it into the X1.”

In order to win the third test and end the series, India will be seeking to field a quality team in Indore. A win would also allow the Men in Blue easily advance to the final of the World Test Championship, which is also planned in Indore.

In my opinion, KL Rahul has had plenty of opportunities to use the willow, and Shubman Gill, who has been in excellent form as seen by his century in each of the game’s three formats, deserves an equal chance.

His exceptional record places him among the top players, and his conventional approach to the game and capacity for long innings enable him to produce significant totals in all three formats.

Kl Rahul ought to be sent to the domestic circuit so that he can rediscover his lost confidence and form and rejoin the national team.

Australia must play their best in the series if they want to defeat India, as they aren’t technically defending well in the middle.

In order for Australia to successfully counter the Indian spinners, their batsmen must accept responsibility and develop superior technique.

India appears to be favourites to easily defeat Australia in the forthcoming match given that the Men in Blue have already won the Border-Gavaskar Trophy on four times.
