Duleep Trophy IND A vs IND B: Musheer Khan played a brilliant knock

Young batsman Musheer Khan has batted brilliantly while playing for India-B in the Duleep Trophy. Musheer batted strongly against India-A in the match being played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru but missed a double century. This is Musheer’s debut Duleep Trophy match and in his first game, he made a splash with the bat, but his dream of scoring a double century was broken in the first match. 

Musheer is the brother of Sarfaraz Khan, who made his Test debut for the Indian team earlier this year. Sarfaraz is also a part of India-B in this match. However, he was dismissed for 9 runs. Musheer had scored a century on the first day of the match. He was dismissed in the second session on the second day. He scored 181 runs off 373 balls.

Musheer Khan started the second day with 105 runs. From here, Musheer started scoring fast runs. He did not stop and continued to run the scoreboard. During this time he joined Navdeep Saini. Saini gives Musheer a chance to play his game. Musheer ended the first session with 174 runs. He was then expected to complete a double century in the second session. In an attempt to hit a big shot at Kuldeep Yadav’s ball, he catches Ryan Parag at Deep Midwicket.  

Strong partnership with Saini

There was a 205-run partnership between Navdeep Saini and Musheer Khan. This partnership came when India-B lost 7 of their wickets at 94 runs. From there, Musheer took one end and Saini supported him well. Saini completed his half-century after Musheer was dismissed. Riding on their wonderful partnership, India-B has set a formidable total of 321 runs. Musheer faced 373 balls in his 181-run innings and smashed 5 sixes and hit 16 boundaries.
