The much anticipated IPL 2020 auction has come to a finish. The much-expected, bowling unit fetched the maximum bidding while the franchises showed no compromise in picking up star all-rounders and overseas finishers in the squad.
A total of 62 players were sold at the auction with eight teams spending a total of 107.5 million rupees.
Pat Cummins became the highest ever overseas bidder in the history of IPL. He fetched as many as 15.5 cr, heading to Kolkata Knight Riders this year. Earlier, RCB and Delhi Capitals locked horns fiercely in the auctions before KKR came to the fore and snatched the number one test bowler for a staggering amount.
