Brazilian Grand Prix will stay on Formula One Calendar until 2025 in Sao Paulo. This news was confirmed by officials on Wednesday. The next year, Grand Prix is scheduled for November 14th, 2021. Also, Brasil Motorsport owned by Abu Dhabi state fund organization known as Mubadala will take over as a new reporter now. As per the announcement from Formula One that Mubadala had appointed senior executive Alan Adler to lead the partnership.

As this year race was cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic and the organizers thought of moving this year grand prix to Rio De Janerio where a racing circuit is yet to be constructed but the plan wasn’t executed as several ex players including Champion Lewis Hamilton said that he would be against conducting race at that location where forest will be cut to create the circuit and also due to controversial reasons the plan was dropped by the organizers.

“We are pleased to announce the city of Sao Paulo will continue to host the Brazilian Grand Prix until 2025 and look forward to working with our new promoter in the years ahead,” F1 Chief Chase Carey said in a statement.

“Brazil is a very important market for Formula One with devoted fans and a long history in the sport.” He added

The fans will witness 23 races in the upcoming year which will start from Australia on March 2021 and will end in Abu Dhabi in December 2021 with a new concept of night race will be conducted in Saudi Arabia on November 28th, 2021.

However, If reports are to be believed in organizing Spanish Grand Prix next year is still subject to contract till May 9th, 2021 but it is expected to be confirmed soon. However with all these 23 races to be scheduled next year, there is one slot remains to be filled on April 25th, 2021 where Vietnam’s postponed inaugural grand prix would have happened initially.
