Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 : Team India begin their preparation at Nagpur -

The famous Border-Gavaskar trophy which began way back in 1996 is all set to resume for the 2023 edition. It is regarded as one of the best cricketing series and this rivalry is among the most fierce ones. The four-match test series will begin in Nagpur, with the subsequent tests taking place in Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and Ahmedabad.

The World Test Championship Finale, which will take place in the summer, has already qualified the Australians. And only a series victory over the Baggy greens for India will guarantee consecutive appearances in the WTC Final. With Virat Kohli vs. Pat Cummins as the main event, several Indo-Kangaroo rivalries will also resurface.

Spinners will continue to be important for both teams as usual. Australian players and legends have expressed their displeasure with the behavior of Indian pitches frequently during the tournament’s build-up. It will be interesting to see how the visitors respond if this scenario occurs.

For better practice against Spine, India called up Jayant Yadav and Pulkit Narang into the squad as Net bowlers. Ashton Agar and Nathan Lyon could cause trouble with their trickery and Rahul Dravid does not want to leave no stones unturned.
