Big Breaking: Indian National Football Team Jump five places high in the rankings after registering victory in Hero Tri-Nation Tournament

Things are changing for good when it comes to Indian football as the national team has produced some significant performances in the recent past which has propelled their rankings in International football.

In recently concluded, Tri-Nation tournament, India successfully registered victory against Myanmar and Kyrgyzstan which has helped to jump at five places high in their rankings with current place being 101 from usual 106.

They have secured a great chance to break into Top 100 rankings in International football with their current form they can easily break into that zone.

National Team Head Coach Igor Stimac who hails from Croatia has brought attacking flair into the squad since taking over the reins in 2019  and under his guidance, India will be gearing up for upcoming big encounters so that they can prepare in the upcoming AFC Asia Cup which is all set to take place next year.

When we talk about Blue Tiger’s performances in the ongoing Tri Nation Tournament, it all begun with a match against Myanmar at Khuman Lumpak Stadium in Imphal where the former dominated the entire match.

The performance from Sunil Chhetri was not upto the mark whereas the goal from Anirudh Thapa helped India to seize victory against Mynamar.

The next match, they faced against much higher ranked opponent, Kyrgz Rebublic where both sides displayed outstanding football but India passed out with a flying colors.

The two goals from Sunil Chhetri and Sandhesh Jhingan helped Blue tigers to score 2-0 against much higher ranked opponent and it was perfect game where both attackers and defenders gave tough time to each other but India were the superior side on most important junctures of the match.
