The first day of BGIS The Grind 2023 has concluded, with 16 teams qualifying for the next round. The top eight teams from each of the two groups advanced, with some familiar faces and some new ones making the cut.
Groups 1 and 2 have already been tested! BGIS 2023 The GRIND Round 1 Day 1 concludes with Numen Gaming & Reckoning Esports at the top of the leaderboards after 6 gruelling matches.
In Group 1, Numen Esports topped the standings with 48 points, followed by Signify Esports (39 points) and Python Esports (35 points). Aerobotz Esports (35 points), GenxFM Esports (34 points), Hub Esports (29 points), Chemin Esports (29 points), and Gods Reign (23 points) also qualified for the next round.
Group 2 was won by Reckoning Esports, who accumulated 57 points over the course of three matches. Team Strange (36 points), GlitchxReborn (36 points), and SPY Esports (30 points) also qualified from this group. Hyderabad Hydras (29 points), Team VST (28 points), Mavericks (23 points), and Growing Strong (22 points) were the other teams to advance.
The qualified teams will now compete in the next round of BGIS The Grind, which will take place on July 27 and 28. The top 64 teams from this round will then advance to the Grand Finals, which will be held on August 6 and 7.

Mazy, Spero, Ankiiibot and a female caster named Shadow were the Hindi language casters at BGIS THE GRIND 2023 DAY 1. The English commentators were Nekrouu and Jonny.
