Bavanaka Sandeep Introduction
When the Indian Premier League started, a very promising young talent from Hyderabad, still in his teens, had a dream of participating in this competition. Over the years, he saw many cricketers he played with, from his city, become a part of the IPL. After more than a decade, Bavanaka Sandeep has finally got a chance to showcase his talent.
To make it even better, he will play for the team from his city, Sunrisers Hyderabad. Sandeep has been a very consistent performer for Hyderabad over the years, in the domestic circuit. Bavanaka Sandeep Early Life
- Bavanaka Sandeep was born on April 25, 1992, in Hyderabad, Telangana (then Andhra Pradesh).
- His father’s name is Parmeshwar.
- Parmeshwar is an ex-employee of Bharat Dynamics Limited.
- At Bharat Dynamics Limited, Parmeshwar used to work as a technician. He had a shift from 8 AM to 5 PM. With such a tedious schedule, he couldn’t commit much time to his kids. Hence, he took voluntary retirement when he was 52 years of age.
- Sandeep has four elder sisters.
- Parmeshwar is a big fan of cricket and always wanted his son to become a cricketer.
- Sandeep’s mother is a homemaker. All of his four sisters have done their MS from USA.
- Sandeep spent his initial days under the guidance of his mentor John Manoj.
- Initially, Sandeep used to practice at the St John’s Sports Coaching Foundation in East Marredpally, Secunderabad.
- After realizing the potential of Sandeep, John Manoj decided not to charge a single penny for his cricket coaching classes.
- Sandeep has studied in the St Andrews School.
- From the fourth standard, he has received a half-scholarship.

Bavanaka Sandeep Domestic Career
- Sandeep made his first-class debut on November 10, 2010, against Jharkhand at Ranchi. He scored a century on his debut and was just 6 runs short of his 150.
- Sandeep’s List A debut came on 11 February, 2011, against Andhra at Palakkad. In this game, he scored 24 runs in 39 deliveries.
- The Hyderabad star made his T20 debut on 17 March 2013 against Kerala at Shimoga. In this match, he could only manage a couple of runs.
Bavanaka Sandeep Achievements
- Sandeep scored a century on his first-class debut.
- He was the leading run-scorer for Hyderabad in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy. In that season, he scored 400 runs in just 4 games.
- He has been a part of the India Red side in the 2018–19 Duleep Trophy.
- He has crossed the 3000-run mark in first-class cricket.
