Senegalese Winger Sadio Mane is all set to say goodbye to Bayern Munich as Saudi Pro League’s renaissance continues. Al-Nassr will sign Mane after paying out his full release clause of £24m and will also make him one of the highest earning players playing Saudi Top tier football.
Al-Nassr finished as runners-up last season, falling short of 5 points from winning Pro League to Al-Ittihad. The latter club will be out for an even stronger Title charge, having signed Top engines from Europe like Karim Benzema, Fabinho, Jota and N’Golo Kante.
Other teams have also bolstered their sides with Al-Ahly perhaps having the most creative front Three of Riyadh Mahrez, Roberto Firmino and Allain Saint Maximin. With all of that in mind, Al-Nassr would not want to fall behind in the race which they started first.
It was actually Cristiano Ronaldo, the first Superstar name to enter the scene at Saudi and ever since then its been a chain reaction. More and more players have flocked in for mad amount of money and many say they are just trying to cover up their failure to compete at the highest level in Europe.

Regardless of all that, Saudi Arabia has indeed become a place to be and Sadio Mane is the latest entrant. He is due to undergo his medical at Al-Nassr on Monday and he is all set to rub shoulders with Cristiano Ronaldo this season.
Sadio Mane set to receive £650,000 per week and €40m+ every year tax-free
The 31-year-old will sign a 4-year contract with Al-Nassr and will bag more than 40 Million Euros every year. His weekly wages of £250,000 at Bayern will sky rocket to £650,000. That’s more than a decent upgrade. Mane’s time at Bayern was touted to be a successful one but the Senegal International fell out of favor in just his 1st year in.
He had an infamous exchange with fellow winger Leroy Sane involving punches on the German’s face after a UCL QF tie against Manchester City. Sadio Mane came in as a direct replacement for Rober Lewandowski who swapped for FC Barcelona. Last season, the Bavarians only won Bundesliga that too on the final day of the 2022/23 season.
Before heading to Germany, Mane spent 8 years in England – 2 at Southampton and 6 at Liverpool. Mane won the UEFA Champions League, Premier League, EFL Cup, FA Cup, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup with the Reds.
