Microsoft pioneer Bill Gates has become a headline name yet again. The software magnum has shared a video on his Instagram account that shows him sitting on a bench and enjoying iconic Indian street food with the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar.

On his third visit to India in three years, to mark the 25th anniversary of the Gates Foundation, the co-founder of Microsoft has been meeting dignitaries from all walks of life during this ongoing visit, including the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He has been documenting his stay in India on social media and a recent post has amused the users. It shows him eating the world-famous sandwich, ‘vada pav’ – a dish that made it to the world’s best sandwiches list in 2024.

However, what has caught the attenion of the users is the tech mogul enjoying the delicious dish with none other than the legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.

‘A snack break before we get to work’, Gates wrote as he posted the picture. The video went viral soon after being posted by him. It also received immense appreciation from people and cricket greats like Yuvraj Singh and Shikhar Dhawan.

The mini clip shows both Gates and Tendulkar casually dressed and relishing the flavorful street food item from Mumbai.

According to ANI, Gates in a blog wrote, “I came away with new ideas because India is full of smart, ambitious people tackling some of the world’s hardest problems in creative ways,” while reflecting on his current visit to India.

Earlier in the year 2023, the billionaire had met the God of Cricket, Sachin and his wife Anjali Tendulkar while visiting Mumbai. The duo had described the meeting as a wonderful learning opportunity and interacted on collaborating together in the philanthropy – health care domain by virtue of their reputed foundations.

The interesting picture has garnered an overwhelming response, showing people how great minds think alike. Gates binging on vada pav was something that nobody saw coming, and it surely has created a frenzy all over Instagram.

Reflecting on his journey in India, Gates also shared his deep admiration for the nation’s ingenuity, “I left with fresh insights, as India is teeming with intelligent, ambitious individuals who are addressing some of the world’s toughest challenges in innovative ways,” he wrote.

Well, we surely hope that the Bill Gates Foundation and Sachin Tendulkar Foundation together work to uplift the underprivileged children, and this powerhouse synergy gets translated into empowering actions.
