Syed Aamer Ali, also known as Amir Ali, was born in Pakistan on November 24, 1978, and currently plays for the Oman national cricket team. In the year 2007, Aamer Ali debuted for the Omani national team.
Early Career
Aamer played briefly in Pakistani domestic competitions before moving to Oman. Aamer Ali made first-class outings for the Karachi Whites and the Karachi Blues. Aamer was born in Karachi, Pakistan. At the Kuwait-hosted 2007 ACC Twenty20 Cup, Aamer Ali made his international debut for Oman. Later that year, Aamer Ali participated in the 2007 World Cricket League Division Two tournament in Namibia, where games were given list-A classification. Aamer Ali’s best performance in the competition was 4/63 against the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
International Career
Aamer has grown into a fixture for Oman in international competitions, participating in list-A games at the 2009 World Cup Qualifier and Twenty20 games at the 2012 and 2015 World Twenty 20 Qualifiers. At the 2015 World Twenty 20 Qualifier, Syed Aamer Ali played his first Twenty 20 international match for Oman against Afghanistan.
Aamer was a member of Oman’s team for the 2016 ICC World Twenty20. In the opening game against Ireland, Syed Aamer Ali scored 32 runs off of 17 balls to win the game. Oman won the match by two wickets thanks to this, which contained five fours and a six.
