You made me wait for a long time… Dravid takes a jibe at Kohli

India has won the Border-Gavaskar Trophy with a margin of 2-1 despite losing the third game and the fourth match of the series being tied. India has also made its way to the world test championship as New Zealand defeated Sri Lanka. However, the special thing about the series is Virat’s whopping hundred after a huge gap of almost 3 years.
Virat looked in good form in the fourth final test match against Australia and posted gigantic 186 runs off 364 on board. His inning was laced with fifteen 4s. His innings in the fourth test match left a good mark on fans as they waited long to see the star batter’s hundred.

Coming his test hundred after a very long time, Indian head coach Rahul Dravid takes a funny jibe at Kohli. Dravid pointed out the long gap by saying he had to wait for 16 months to watch Kohli’s hundred from the comfort of the dressing room.
“You made me wait for a long time since I became the coach. But what a beauty and it was an absolute privilege to watch the way you constructed your innings,” said Dravid.

Virat didn’t miss the chance to respond to Dravid. He thanked him for his kind words. “Thanks for your kind words Rahul bhai. As far as approaching this inning is concerned. I knew that I was playing well even in the test matches before we played this one. To be fair, it was a really good wicket to bat on,” said Kohli.
While responding on behalf of his daddy hundred which came against Australia in the fourth test match, Virat said that the wicket was good to bat. Although he has waited way too long for the hundred, it was worth the wait.
