Will Bayern Munich find a route back against Manchester City in Champions League QF’s 2nd Leg?

Reigning UEFA Champions League winners Real Madrid are awaiting either of Manchester City or Bayern Munich for the Semi-finals this season. Munich’s Allianz Arena will host an epic UCL 2nd leg QFs and it is expected to be a Goal fest.

Both of the managers have expressed their thoughts ahead of the showpiece event. Thomas Tuchel and Pep Guardiola interact with one another off the pitch as well. The Manchester City manager entered after the Bayern manager finished talking about how his club would need a miracle to advance before praising them and their achievements.

The mind games have already started to come into effect and for a fact both of the teams are in a similar situation more or less. City are chasing a Treble (FA Cup, Premier League and UCL) while Bayern are looking to win another Bundesliga and the UCL.

City had washed out Bayern at the Etihad Stadium 3-0. It was one of their most clinical performances this season and they will travel to Munich with positive momentum by their side.

Meanwhile, there isn’t really a competition at all in the race for the Golden Shoe, which goes to the player in Europe with the most goals, weighted for the quality of their league. Harry Kane trails Haaland by 18 points, and since the Norwegian is still competing in European competition and the Spurs player is not, the gap is more likely to grow than shrink.

It might not have much of an impact on the rankings or prizes that Haaland hopes to win, but it is still an impressive way to celebrate his season. The last two years’ winner, Robert Lewandowski, did not perform poorly at the Ballon d’Or honors.

Who will come out on top later tonight?
