“We don’t fear Haaland and City won’t qualify for the UCL Final!” Video of a young Real Madrid fan goes viral!
Manchester City and Real Madrid played out a jaw-dropping 1-1 draw in the 1st Leg of the UEFA Champions League Semi-final at the Santiago Bernabeu. The game was evenly contested throughout the 90 minutes and it is all to play for in the 2nd leg at Man City’s home.
It was actually a replay of last year’s UCL semi-final between the 2 teams where Real Madrid prevailed and eventually lifted their 14th European title against Liverpool in the Final at Paris. This year, the Champions League final will be heading to Istanbul for the first time since the epic finale showdown between AC Milan and Liverpool FC.

Real Madrid broke the deadlock in the first half at Bernabeu with a sensational strike by Vinicius Jr from outside of the box to make it 1-0. It took Man city more than 25 minutes to equal the tie as Attacking midfielder Kevin De Bruyne scored a similar goal as Vini Jr. in the 68th minute.
City number 9 Erling Haaland was not given many chances by Madrid’s defense as Antonio Rudiger limited the supply towards the Norwegian as he had less than 20 touches in the entire 90 minutes.

After the match, Haaland became subject to plenty of criticism from Football pundits as well as outlets. Meanwhile, a video of a Real Madrid fan on Instagram is gaining a lot of traction. In that video, the fan was asked about Madrid’s chances of heading into the final and was asked about his opinion as to why couldn’t the defending champions come out with a win.
“We have Benzema, Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr – all Balon D’or players and it was because of the Ref that we could not win and Madrid will qualify.” – the fan screamed on top his lungs.
Then the reporter asked the young fan about Erling Haaland and he said – “Erling Haaland doesn’t know how to play. Did you see Antonio Rudiger and the way he blocked him? Without the supply, he cannot do anything and so we don’t fear Haaland” – the fan concluded.
