Watch : Viral video of Virat Kohli imitating Faf Du Plesis’ Batting style at the Chinnaswamy!

IPL 2023 is less than 2 weeks away from conclusion as only 3 spots remain for the play-offs after Gujarat Titans defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad last night at the Narendra Modi Stadium to become the first team to reach the knockout stages.

The defending champions are certain to finish on top of the points table as they have 18 points in 13 matches and GT will face Royal Challengers Bangalore in their final league match at the M Chinnaswamy stadium. Their closest competition is CSK who have 15 points and even if MS Dhoni’s side win their final league outing against Delhi Capitals, they still won’t be able to dethrone Gujarat Titans from the summit.

Things will unfold as the play-offs begin but a Video from the M Chinnaswamy is making a lot of news in the Internet. The viral video features 2 RCB stars – Captain Faf Du Plesis and franchise legend Virat Kohli. Both of the players share a good bonding and the chemistry between the 2 has helped RCB time in-time out.

In the video, Du Plesis can be seen practicing before the match with Virat Kohli standing right behind him. The Indian ace batter was seen imitating the South-African’s unique Batting style continuously. The crowd inside the stadium anyways go berserk whenever Virat Kohli even walks and it goes without saying, the spectators were loving the Indian Batter’s mischievous gesture.

Fans on Social media showered their reactions on the interaction between Kohli and Du Plesis. A fan commented “Hopefully he does imitate in scoring too!” Another fan took a brutal dig by mentioning Kohli’s slow strike rate – “Can’t imitate that strike rate though 😢”

Meanwhile if we talk about RCB’s play-off chances then their final league stage match against Gujarat Titans is a must win game. They don’t just have to win the match by a big margin but also hope that other contenders like Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals, Kolkata Knight Riders all have same points.
