Watch Video: Rishabh pant got furious, smashes his bat in anger

It’s the seventeenth season of the IPL, and the Delhi Capitals team had to taste defeat in both their initial matches. Firstly they lost against Punjab and then they played the match against Rajasthan Royals, in which they also had to face defeat by a margin of 12 runs. At the end of the game with Rajasthan Royals, DC captain Rishabh Pant seemed rather upset and frustrated.

In the first match of DC in this IPL season, Rishabh Pant returned to the field after almost 14 months of recovery since he had a car accident and got injured badly. He was not able to play a big inning in that match. Even in the match against RR, he scored 28 runs in 26 balls before getting out.

Now, a video of Rishabh Pant is becoming increasingly viral on online media, in which the batsman is seen very angrily hitting his bat on the wall while returning to the dressing room. He was very much upset with himself because he got out and from the way he performed.

Delhi Caps were chasing the score of 186 runs in this match and at one stage, after 13 overs, they were at 108 runs, which was ideal for DC run chase. Thereafter, for Rajasthan, the 14th over was bowled by Yuzvendra Chahal and he dismissed Rishabh Pant within this over. From that point on, the match turned in Rajasthan’s favor.

It is clear from Pant’s face that he was very disappointed to get out and his wicket was a crucial factor for the match. Post his departure, Rajasthan Royals took an advantage and surely passed the game. DC lost this match by 12 runs.

Talking about Rishabh Pant, he has completed 100  matches in IPL with this game against RR. After the game, Rishabh Pant had said that the cause of their loss was him and he would try his 100% in the next encounter.
