Watch : Ishan Kishan and Cameron Green get together for a "mock interview" on the light of MI Women's WPL dominance!

Mumbai Indians Women are running riots in the inaugural Women’s Premier League 2023 as they are still the team to beat in the tournament. Harmanpreet Kaur led MI Women’s are the only team in the WPL which has been able to maintain a 100% win record as they are yet to lose a single tie.

Seems as if they are ready to carry on the MI legacy and are desperate to replicate the success of their Men’s IPL team by winning the inaugural edition itself. They have already secured a play-off berth and have become the first side in the tournament to qualify for the semi-finals with 3 league matches still to be played.

On the success of Mumbai Indians Women in WPL, Men’s team players Ishan Kishan and Cameron Green got together to perform a mock press conference as both of the players asked questions to each other about the team’s success. Both the players visited MI women’s game against Gujarat Giants last night.

Cameron Green threw the first question to Ishan Kishan and asked about his experience of watching his first ever WPL game featuring Mumbai Indians. Kishan said – “Actually i’m loving it, we got a wicket on the very first ball of the second innings, so pretty happy till now and hopefully we win this game.”Β

Then it was Ishan Kishan’s turn and he asked how important or big is WPL for all the Women cricketers? Cameron Green said – Its huge. You see the effect that the Men’s IPL and hopefully the WPL can also go through such a transition.

Meanwhile, MI’s presence in the WPL final has already been taken care of and they will just have to make sure they maintain their sheer dominance in their next league matches against UP Warriorz, Delhi Capitals Women and Royal Challengers Bangalore Women.

Last night, Gujarat Giants lost their return fixture against MI by 55-runs as Harmanpreet Kaur played another man of the match winning knock of 51 off 30.
