6 out of the 8 UEFA Champions League 1st Leg Round of 16 matches have come to an end with only 2 more to take place later tonight. Bayern, AC Milan, Dortmund, Benfica, Napoli and Real Madrid has won their respective 1st legs and tonight we will see Manchester City take on RB Leipzig and Inter Milan go against FC Porto.

Last night during concurrent R16 ties, Napoli earned a 2-0 victory at Frankfurt and reigning champions Real Madrid hammered past 5 goals to beat Liverpool. A few records were set in this game. Firstly, Jurgen Klopp’s side conceded 5 goals for the first time in their UCL participation.

And another was Vinicius Jr. scoring a brace last night to become the only player in Europe to find the back of the net 5 times against the Reds. However, the game began in favor of Liverpool as they took an early 2-0 advantage through Darwin Nunez’s creative finish and Mohammad Salah’s 14th minute goal.

However, the Madridistas produced an outstanding 5-2 come back through goals from Vini Jr., Eder Militao and Karim Benzema. The result of the match created an outburst of reactions from both Madrid and Liverpool fans on Social Media.
