Men in Green is gearing up for the upcoming edition of Pakistan Super League season 9 on 13th Feburary 2023 in Multan where the marquee event will be played across distinct legs.

Peshwar Zalmi new skipper Babar Azam will be leading the new franchise in the upcoming edition of PSL is preparing in full flow and the recent video sharing Azam and Afridi where these two are batting and bowling against each other in the nets goes viral on social media.

The tournament will begun with the clash between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars in Multan will be spread across other venues too including the likes of- Rawalpindi, Karachi and Lahore.

Azam and Afridi is gearing up their preparations in Gadafi Stadium Lahore in a video shared by official account of Lahore Qalandars where the latter is bowling to  former and Azam being the finest batter is hitting shots all round the corner effectively.

Azam is excited for the new leadership role in the upcoming edition of PSL and added that Zalmi is one of the most successful franchise in the marquee event so leading them will be an honour for him.

Azam is all time leading run scorer in PSL.

Talking about Zalmi, they won the title in 2017 but reached the finals in 2018, 2019 and 2021 also played eliminator matches in the year 2020 and 2022.

Shaheen Afridi led Lahore Qalandar last season with their first PSL title so they will be stepping onto the field as defending champions.
