As the whole nation is celebrating the color festival of Holi, all the Cricketers in India are also taking part in this very important festive which is known for bringing people together. As the Women’s Premier League is on full swing, players of all the 5 franchises joined in for the festivities.
India’s Men cricketers celebrated Holi on their bus yesterday ahead of the 4th Border-Gavaskar trophy starting from tomorrow. The likes of Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill were seen all colored up and social media exploded after their pictures came out.
WPL players were also seen play the festival of Holi and it has certainly taken over. Delhi Capitals uploaded a video of their Women players playing with colors after their win against UP Warriorz.

Royal Challengers Bangalore’s women players did not miss out either and played Holi in the best way possible. Their star all-rounder and Aussie legend Ellyse Perry shared a picture on Twitter as she dived into the festival with her team mates.

Although, RCB Women haven’t had the best of starts in first ever WPL. They are currently languishing in the 4th position in WPL points table but that did not stop the players from celebrating. On the day of Holi i.e today, they will take on bottom sided Gujarat Giants and will hope to win their first match of the tournament.
Meanwhile, Ellyse Perry after Holi celebrations, took to Instagram and ranted about the color which is not leaving her hair. “Just wondering if this is now a permanent thing? I’ve washed my hair twice.” – this is what Perry had to say in her post Holi post.
