BCCI is going through regime change under the leadership of Hardik Pandya as T20 captain where young players are given more chances to play T20 as attacking stint.

If Reports are believed, based on the version from different media outlets, BCCI sources have confirmed that Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will be permanently excluded from India’s T20 Squad.

If this news turns out to be true, then seniors will be given chances in Test and ODI format.

The BCCI officials while taking to Insidesport futher stated that these two legendary batter doesn’t fit into scheme of T2o cricket as the board is looking for different template when it comes to shortest format going forward and we have two years of time for next T20 World Cup.

We are confident of building a strong side ahead of next big T20 event.

He further concluded that these two players doesn’t fit into scheme of things for T2o cricket and they are free to take their call when it comes to deciding future in T2o format.

BCCI decided to go for regime change especially after losing T20 World Cup game against England by 10 wickets in the semi-final round.

Hardik Pandya has been appointed as the new skipper to set the template for T2o cricket.

It is also believed that regular coach Rahul Dravid will continue till 2023 World Cup and he will be replaced by VVS Laxman post that marquee event.

India will next locking horns against New Zealand followed by Australia and many top players including the likes of Prithvi Shaw have made comeback in T20 format.
